SHELDRICK’S WILDLIFE TRUST ORPHANAGE
The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Orphanage in Nairobi offers a truly unique and heartwarming experience, giving visitors the chance to meet rescued baby elephants up close. Dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of orphaned elephants and rhinos, the sanctuary plays a vital role in wildlife conservation. With the exception of December 25th, guests can watch the young elephants being bottle-fed and playing in the mud while learning about the Trust’s inspiring efforts to protect Kenya’s wildlife, every day from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. A visit here is not only unforgettable but also supports the survival of these gentle giants.

- The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) requires that Nairobi National Park gate entry fees be paid by all visitors to the SWT Nairobi Nursery. This makes it ideal to combine your visit with a game drive in Nairobi National Park.
- Entry to the Nursery is strictly by advance booking with confirmed reservations only as slots are limited.
GIRAFFE CENTER
The Giraffe Centre in Nairobi, established in 1979, is a conservation and education center dedicated to protecting the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe. Located just 20 kilometers from the city center, it’s the perfect place for a wild adventure with family and friends.
